Right before our very eyes, a multitude of netizens are actively building a new platform for civilization using blockchain technology as its foundation. Already out in the wild is a secure medium for storing and transporting value of all kinds. Related to this development is the recent appearance of decentralized organizational entities (such as The DAO), which in turn have ushered calls for finding novel voting methods to support them. Futarchy and Quadratic Voting are the most notable to date. And soon to arrive on the scene are social media platforms that are native to blockchain technology. The entire field is off to a spectacular start!

What’s missing from this already-vibrant ecosystem is an elegant method for human consensus generation that utilizes the unique functionality of this environment: Pseudonymity, security, efficient value transfer, encoded impartiality, and unlimited human imagination.
